Physical Therapist

For those of you considering dry needling therapy but just can’t get past the word “needling,” I am here to assure you that it will be all right.  The thin filament needles used are so fine that you can not feel them being inserted.

You will feel your muscles tighten and twitch when the needle reaches the trigger point.  This is temporary.  This is what you want.  After the muscles twitch, they relax.  A relaxed muscle is a happy muscle.  Within ten minutes of a dry needling session, I had a noticeably greater range of motion and less pain.

I would not have made the progress I did with my frozen shoulder if I had not had the dry needling treatment.  If you are on the fence about trying this therapy, let me push you over to the positive side.  Based on my experience, I highly recommend it.

Molly Debra Duggar-Brennan

I have suffered from hip and back pain since January. Recently, it has become severe. I have had trouble sleeping. The pain woke me up at night.

My left leg did not feel strong. I walked with a limp. I have had physical therapy, and A.J. suggested dry needle therapy.

This treatment has definitely helped me. My leg is feeling stronger, and I am having less back pain.

I highly recommend this treatment; it speeds up your recovery time.

Joyce B. Smart

I started going to Woodstock Rehab & Fitness for my left arm that I messed up cleaning around the farm. I was so happy I was given a choice of which rehab I wanted to go to. Because I Love this place. You walk in and meet Alex or Megan always with a smile and kind words or encouragement for you. Then you see Marsha, always sweet and myself being a challenge, because the x-rays showed nothing. Marsha tried everything in my initial visit to help.
Unfortunately I needed surgery, I had a torn rotator cuff & bicep which was discovered after an MRI of my shoulder.
After surgery I went back to Rehab. Marsha & Melissa worked patiently with my shoulder as each time I went in my range of motion was getting better. I did come home & kept exercising because I wanted to get better. After range of motion they began working on strength. Lot of pain, but they have never pushed me past it.
So very happy to have all of you in my corner.

I have suffered from hip and back pain since January. Recently, it has become severe. I have had trouble sleeping. The pain woke me up at night.

My left leg did not feel strong. I walked with a limp. I have had physical therapy, and A.J. suggested dry needle therapy with electrical impulses being charged into the muscle.

This treatment has definitely helped me. My leg is feeling stronger, and I am having less back pain.

I highly recommend this treatment; it speeds up your recovery time.

Joyce Smart

WR&F therapists worked patiently and thoroughly with me toward the goal of reducing my leg pain so that I could comfortably walk. Mission accomplished.

Lila Williams

I’m getting back to hiking and motorcycle riding, less than 90 days after a total knee replacement, thanks to the professional, knowledgeable and compassionate physical therapy provided by Dr. Marsha Cooper and Melissa Rowles at WR&F.

Dale Wurzer

I’m still going through treatment here for an Achilles Tendon injury but have been to at least 8-10 visits so far.  The front desk staff have all been extremely friendly and have gone out of their way to assist me with workers comp paperwork.  My PT is Marcia (SP?) Cooper and the assistant is Melissa.  I love working with both and won’t hesitate to continue to use them as needed.

Awesome rehabilitation center!

Wife and I just joined , We are both truly impressed, with the facilities, and mostly the staff. Dave has been very informative. We have been members to a few high profile Gyms in the past. But WRF is by far the best we have ever been associated with. You are given a full exam, and then a regime is prescribed for you, with one on one instructions how to correctly perform each exercise, stretch or weight rep.. Truly professional
